Sono una giovane donna, moglie di un marito che adoro e che mi sostiene da sempre, figlia di genitori affettuosi e presenti che hanno cresciuto me e mio fratello con amore e dedizione, impegnandosi nel trasmetterci l’educazione e il rispetto delle regole, del prossimo, l’impegno nello studio, nel lavoro e in tutte quelle passioni ed hobby che ci hanno accompagnato fin dalla nostra infanzia felice.

Adoro cucinare per le persone che amo, proprio come mia madre, viaggiare alla scoperta di nuovi luoghi come mio padre, mi piacciono i libri, il giardinaggio, il fai da te creativo e anche se meno, lo sport. Amo semplicemente la vita, in tutte le sue forme e sfaccettature, comprese quelle che ti mettono a dura prova e dalle quali spesso pensiamo di non potere uscire e che poi addirittura ti sorprendono, regalandoti nuove emozioni da vivere, nuove persone da conoscere ed esperienze da cui imparare sempre qualcosa.

La propensione al contatto sociale, alla complessità e difficoltà umane, è ciò che, dopo la maturità classica, mi ha spinta verso la Psicologia.

Ho conseguito presso l’Università Degli Studi di Palermo dapprima la laurea triennale in Scienze e Tecniche Psicologiche con la votazione di 110, la laurea magistrale in Psicologia clinica CV Neuropsicologia con 110 e lode e l’abilitazione alla professione, con iscrizione all’Ordine degli Psicologi della Regione Sicilia.

Ho ottenuto un master in Psicologia Giuridica: sono CTP (consulente tecnico di parte) ed iscritta all’albo dei CTU (consulenti tecnici d’ufficio) del Tribunale di Termini Imerese. Nel lavoro a scuola e a contatto con i bambini, ho maturato un particolare interesse verso le difficoltà di apprendimento, iniziando così ad approfondire sempre più le conoscenze e gli studi nell’ambito dei DSA e BES, conseguendo una formazione specifica a riguardo e dell’utilizzo dei relativi strumenti compensativi.

Tuttavia partecipo periodicamente a corsi ed eventi formativi per tenermi aggiornata sull’evoluzione continua delle tecniche e procedure utilizzate in tale ambito e non solo, personalmente ritengo che “il sapere non sia mai abbastanza… c’è continuamente da imparare “.

Gli strumenti principali che utilizzo nel mio lavoro sono l’ascolto e la relazione, attraverso i quali si può arrivare all’accettazione, alla conoscenza di sé e perfino al cambiamento.

Oltre alla libera professione collaboro come Docente-Formatore presso scuole e centri di formazione privati ed accreditati; cooperative e comunità; corsi di formazione nell’ambito dello “stress lavoro-correlato”; formazione in materia di Psicologia presso corsi OSA e di qualifica professionale; sportello ascolto; esperto PON ed assistente all’autonomia e comunicazione nella scuola pubblica.
